Because the fascists at MLB.tv are broadcasting MASN instead of NESN this evening (why DO they do that?) I was treated to glee-filled multiple angles of the pickoff at second base from last night...and every one of them showed Nixon as being safe, or in enough doubt to suggest a tie. Also, the homeplate umpire (who is not the same guy who was at second last night; I just checked) just called Nixon looking on a 3-2 pitch that was 1/2 a foot out of the strikezone. Ugh.
